What is "Selective Editing"?
Selective Editing is where the customer requires some sophistication of editing in a
project, but cost is a priority item. It may be that specific parts of an existing video
or film to be edited.
How is it accomplished?
If it is a video you need to have edited, send it to us, we will digitize the footage,
master it to digital videotape, then we create a working VHS copy with a time code window
at the bottom that you will be able to see.
If the footage is in the form of film, it must also be digitized, which involves an
additional process, which reflects the additional cost.
We send you back a working time code VHS tape(s) of the digitized film and/or video
along with easy to follow editing forms. You simply write down the segments you want
according to the time code, and number the sequence along side.
You may incorporate pictures, slides, titles, music at any place you desire by
indication on the form.
Because some projects can be quite complex, we recommend that you leave us your e-mail
address for any correspondence we may require to complete your project in the intended
manner.
