Will they play on my DVD player at home / in the office?

What we produce is referred to as a DVD-R. A DVD-R is compatible is most player today. If you have a player that is a few years old, you may find our DVD-R's may not play on your machine. Since we cannot be responsible for your player, it is advised to check your player prior to ordering.

What about titles and chapters?

Unless you have specific requirements, we initiate a single title, along with chapter points every 3, 5, or 10 minute intervals,as you request-- or simply none at all.
This allows you to index all the points for quick access.

Why should I consider having my videotapes converted?

If your videos are more than 10 years old, they are approaching their estimated life expectancy. It is doubtful that you would knowingly risk the destruction of those videos, but old videotape can break, stick, and clog in a machine-- unfortunately, without warning.

How long can I expect the DVD to last?

Best estimates, by the company that created the format is 80 to 100 years (of course, that is barring any physical damage!).

Will I increase my quality to DVD quality?

Unfortunately, no---Quality in video doesn't increase just because you transfer your video to DVD--- HOWEVER, it is possible to improve the image where it LOOKS better by using enhancements (color correction, brighten/darken, improve contrast) at additional costs.

How much information can I get on a DVD?

We can transfer a MAXIMUM of 120 minutes-- it is very important to keep that in mind-- only because many people run their 2 hour cassettes in different speeds, like LP. We will transfer exactly what the customer orders per disk, up to 120 minutes--- if your tape runs more, the remaining portion would not be transferred.

How much does it cost?

A title, many chapters, and up to two hours (120 minutes),is just $35 plus shipping.

We will also custom-design an inking directly on  DVD and a custom cover for the DVD case at no extra charge!

How long does it take?

We generally have a 3 day turn around from when we receive projects-- however the time does vary according to our workload.  We do offer a special "rush" order at a slight additional fee.
